Oswestry U3A welcomes Feed the Birds for inspiring talk on combating loneliness

Members of Oswestry U3A enjoyed an engaging and informative talk last week from our
trustee Jonathan, who shared how the charity Feed the Birds plays a vital role in tackling
loneliness and isolation across Shropshire.
The group learned how the charity connects volunteers with individuals who benefit from
companionship and the simple pleasure of feeding and watching birds. Jonathan also
highlighted how much the charity depends on volunteers and referrals to continue its work
supporting vulnerable and isolated people.
Feed the Birds extended warm thanks to Oswestry U3A for their generous donations and
enthusiasm in supporting the charity’s mission.
